This series of stories was created out of lectures I gave at annual Storytelling seminars for Tabor College students between 1983 and 1986. I had no idea at the time I put them into circulation how far and wide they would go. People (mums, dads, teachers, and kids) listened to them in India, USA, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and all over Australia.

Read by children in countries far and wide in its prose format, Colin now reads it to you in verse with jungle studs to accompany the story.

In a fishing village in Palestine in the Roman year 781 AUC (our 28 AD), four free-spirited 12-year-olds are well known for causing  havoc, and getting away with it. Tahlia and her three untamed friends make ridiculous plans that never come off, often disrupting the town and their families. All goes well until they meet a stranger with miraculous powers – but then Tahlia dies.
